Persons qualified for screening bodies of suspected smugglers - 173 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 173 Dated 29/12/1956 In pursuance of sub-section (4) of section 170A of the Sea Customs Act, 1878 (8 of 1878), as in force in India and as applied to the State of Pondicherry, the Central Government hereby notifies that any person : - who is employed as radiologist in a Government hospital; or who is a graduate in medicine holding a degree of D.M.R. or other equivalent post-graduate qualification and has at least five years experience as a radiologist, shall be deemed to possess the qualifications recognised by the Central Government for the purpose of the said section.
