Board’s powers delegated to certain [Principal Commissioner or Commissioner] in respect of goods imported by land - 121 - Customs -TariffExtract Notification No. 121 Dated 18/06/1966 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 152 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs under section 109 of the said Act may be exercised also by the 1 [principal Commissioner of Central Excise or Commissioner of Central Excise, as the case may be], Allahabad, Baroda, Delhi, Patna, West Bengal and Shillong who are 2 [Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be] by virtue of the Notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. G.S.R. 214, dated the 1 st February, 1963 and No. G.S.R. 904, dated the 25 th May, 1963. ---------------------- 1 Substituted by Notification No. 23/2014-C.E.
