Joint Commissioner of Customs and Asstt. Commissioner of Customs or Deputy Commissioners of Customs, Goa to exercise powers of Principal Commissioner or Commissioner in certain cases - 3 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 3 Dated 31/01/1970 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 152 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by a 1 [Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be] under the proviso to sub-section (3) of section 46 of the said Act shall also be exercisable by the 2 [Joint commissioner of Customs] and Central Excise, Goa; and the powers exercisable by a 3 [Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be] under clause(i) of the first proviso to section 61 of the said Act shall also be exercisable by the 4 [Joint Commissioner of Customs] and Central excise, Goa and the 5 [Assistant Commissioner of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs], Goa. ------------------ 1 Substituted by Notification No. 56/2014-Cus.
