Seeks to further amend Notification No. 42/96-Customs, dated the 23.07.1996 so as to make suitable amendments to the list of specified projects under heading 9801 of the first schedule to the Customs Tariff. - 21/2016 - Customs -Tariff

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 21/2016-Customs New Delhi, the 1st March, 2016 G.S.R. 215 (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-item (6) of heading No. 98.01 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) , the Central Government, having regard to the economic development of the country, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 42/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 294(E), dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely:- In the said notification, for the project specified against serial number 41, for the words, Cold storage, cold room (including for farm level pre-cooling) , the words and brackets Cold storage, cold room (including for farm level pre-cooling), cold chain including pre-cooling unit, packhouses, sorting and grading lines and ripening chambers shall be substituted.
