Income-tax (8th Amendment) Rules, 1999 - S.O. 352(E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES NOTIFICATION NO. 10931 New Delhi, the 18 th May, 1999 INCOME-TAX S.O. 352(E). -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further, to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962 , namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (8th Amendment) Rules, 1999 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the. Official Gazette. 2. In Appendix II to the Income-tax Rules, 1962 ,- (a) in the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT to FORM NO. 2B,- (i) in item 4, the figures 19 , shall be omitted; (ii) the figures 199 , wherever they occur, shall be omitted; (iii) for item 12 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- 12. Details total income and loss of the previous years comprised in the block period (See PART-II of return).
