Income-tax (Twentieth Amendment) Rules, 2000 - S.O. 909(E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES) NOTIFICATION NO. 11528 New Delhi, the 3rd October, 2000 (INCOME-TAX) S.O. 909(E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , the Central Board of Direct Taxes makes the following rales further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962 . namely- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Twentieth Amendment) Rules, 2000 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette 2. In the Income-tax Rules, 1962 , in Appendix II, in Form No. 1,- (i) In the heading acknowledgement , in Item 21, for Tax and Surcharge 310 . the following shall be substituted, namely:- Tax Payable : 310 Add Surcharge : 316 Total Tax Payable : 380 , (ii) In Part-Ill, for Item 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- 7(a) Tax Payable Rs._____________ (b) Add Surcharge Rs._____________ (c) Total Tax Payable Rs _____________ .
