GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL FINANCE DEPARTMENT Revenue NOTIFICATION No. 1512 F.T., the 23rd day of August, 2017.- In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Bengal Electricity Duty Act, 1935 (Ben. Act X of 1935), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, West Bengal as referred to in clause (7) of section 2 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben. Act XLIX of 1994) also as the Director of Electricity Duty for carrying out the purposes of the said Act. 2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 20th day of July, 2017. By order of the Governor, H. K.
