Exemption u/s 35AC - Approved National Press India, NPI as an eligible project or scheme NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.939 ( E ) DATED 10-12-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause ( b ) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government on the recommendations of the National Committee, hereby approves the institution specified in column (2) of the Table below and project cost thereof as mentioned in columns (3) and (4) of the said Table.
