GOVERNMENT OF MEGHALAYA EXCISE, REGISTRATION, TAXATION STAMPS DEPARTMENT Notification Dated Shillong, the 23rd Mar, 2018. No. ERTS(T) 79/2017/545. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Act No. 10 of 2017), the Government of Meghalaya hereby appoints the 1 st day of April, 2018, as the date from which the provisions of sub-rules (ii) of rule 2 other than clause (7), (iii), (iv), (v), (vi) and (vii) of rule 2 of notification No. 12/2018-State Tax dated the 7th March, 2018 issued vide No. ERTS(T)79/2017/516, dated 7.3.2018 shall come into force.
