GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY THE GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 7th November, 2017 No.FTX.90/2016/205.- In exercise of powers conferred by section 96 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act XXVIII of 2017) , the Governor of Assam is pleased to constitute the Assam Authority for Advance Ruling consisting of the following members, namely:- 1) Shri J.K. Simte, Additional Commissioner, GST, CBEC, Guwahati. 2) Shri Ramen Kumar Barman, Joint Commissioner of State tax, Assam. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, V. B. PYARELAL, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department.
