GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY THE GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION No. 12/2018 The 25th July, 2018 No.FTX.56/2017/Pt-III/256,- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act No. XXVIII of 2017), the Governor of Assam, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of Assam, in the Finance (Taxation) Department, No.FTX.56/2017/21 (Notification No. 8/2017) dated the 29th June, 2017, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide No. 342 dated the 29th June, 2017, and last amended vide notification No, FTX.56/2017/231 (Notification No. 10), dated the 3rd May, 2018, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide number 219 dated the 5th May, 2018, namely:- In the said notification. for the figures, letters and words 30th day of June, 2018 , the figures, letters and words 30th day of September, 2018 shall be substituted.
