GST RULES-2017-ORDER- (133)-2018, Lucknow : Dated : September 06,2018 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no.1 of 2017) read with section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act no.1 of 1904), the Governor is pleased to make the fallowing rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017:- 1. Short title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Ninteenth Amendment) Rules, 2018 (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 12th day of June, 2018. 2. Amendment in rule 129 In the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 hereinafter referred to as the said rules, in rule 129, for the words Director General of Safeguards , wherever they occur, the words Director General of Anti-profiteering shall be substituted; 3. Amendment in rule 130 In the said rules, in rule 130, in sub-rule (2), for the words ''Director General of Safeguards , at both places where they occur, the words Director General of Anti-profiteering shall be substituted; 4. Amendment in rule 131 In the said rules, in rule 131, for the words Director General of Safeguards , the words Director General of Anti-profiteering shall be substituted; 5. Amendment in rule 132 In the said rules, in rule 132, in sub-rule (1), for the words Director General of Safeguards , the words Director General of Anti-profiteering shall be substituted; 6.
