MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) (Financial Market Division) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th October, 2016 S.O. 3185(E).- In exercise of powers conferred by Section 4 of the Securities Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) , read with rule 3 of the Securities Exchange Board of India (Terms Conditions of Service of Chairman Members) Rules, 1992 , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Gurumoorthy Mahalingam as Whole Time Member in Securities and Exchange Board of India from the date of his assumption of charge for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 65 years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
