Central Government appoints Dr. T. C. Nair as Whole Time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India - F. No. 5/70/CM/2004-S.O. 1830(E) - SEBI

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) (CAPITAL MARKETS DIVISION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28th December, 2005 S.O. 1830(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (l) of Section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), read with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Services of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby appoints Dr. T. C. Nair as Whole Time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India under clause (d) of that Sub-section for a period of 3 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till he attains the age of sixty-two years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
