Central Government appoints Dr. Jayanth Rama Varma, as a full time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India - F. No. 5/34/CM/99-SO. 181(E) - SEBI

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) (CAPITAL MARKET DIVISION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th February, 2000 SO. 181(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), read with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Services of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby appoints Dr. Jayanth Rama Varma, as a full time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India under clause (d) of that sub-section.
