SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 28 th May, 2007 F.No. SEBI/LE/94264/07.- The Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 by the Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange Association Limited having its registered office at Padam Towers , 14/113, Civil Lines, Kanpur-208 001 and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 renewal of recognition to the said exchange under section 4 of the said Act for a period of one year commencing on the 3rd day of June, 2007 and ending on 2nd day of June, 2008 in respect of contracts in securities subject to the condition as may be prescribed or imposed hereafter.
