Central Board of Direct Taxes specifies the following shares, as long term specified securities u/s 54EA NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 9 ( E ) DATED 5-1-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 54EA of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby specifies the following shares, as long term specified securities, for the purpose of the said section, namely:--- Shares to be issued by Tata Petrodyne Limited, a public company registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1956, and having its registered office at Jeevan Bharti, Tower No. 1, 10th Floor, 124, Connaught Circus, New Delhi-110 001, within one year from the date of the publication of this notification, of an amount not exceeding Rs. 69 crores which are not transferable before three years after its allotment.
