SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 29th April, 1998 S.O. 355(E).- Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act 1956 (42 of 1956) read with Rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation), Rules, 1957 by Cochin Stock Exchange Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Exchange ) and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the said Act, being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby renews recognition to the Exchange under Section 4 of the said Act for a further period of three years commencing on the 8th day of May, 1998 and ending on the 7th day of May, 2001, in respect of contracts in securities.
