Amendment in Notification No. S.O. No. 863(E), dated 12th December, 1997 u/s 35AC NOTIFICATION NO. S. O. 550 ( E ) DATED 2-7-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause ( b ) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government on the recommendations of the National Committee, hereby amends the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) S.O. No. 863(E), dated 12th December, 1997, namely:--- In the said notification in column 3, against Serial No. 6, for the words "construction, furnishing and equipments of rural community hospital, canteen, dharmshala and staff quarters for hospital staff at Chennai, Tamilnadu", the words "purchase and running of Willingdon Hospital, Chennai, Tamilnadu" shall be substituted.
