Amendment in import policy conditions of cashew kernels (broken/whole) - 8/2015-2020 - Foreign Trade Policy

S.O. 1955 (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D R) Act, 1992 , read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 , as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy conditions of cashew kernels (broken) against HS Code 08013210 and cashew kernel (whole) against HS Code 08013220 under Chapter 8 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule - I (Import Policy). Exim Code Item Description Present Policy Revised Policy Existing Policy Condition Revised Policy Condition 08013210 Cashew kernel, broken Free Prohibited Minimum CIF Value (Per Kg.) is ₹ 288/- However, import is free if CIF value is above ₹ 680/- per KG. 08013220 Cashew kernel, whole Free Prohibited Minimum CIF Value (Per Kg.)is ₹ 400/- However, import is free if CIF value is above ₹ 720/- per KG. Effect of the Notification: Minimum Import Price of Cashew kernel (broken / whole) enhanced. This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce Industry.
