Addition of area in M/S Vizag Seaport Private Ltd (VSPL) Visakhapatnam - 02/2019(CUSTOMS) - Customs - Non Tariff

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS CUSTOM HOUSE PORT AREA, VISAKHAPATNAM-530035 Date 29.03.2019 NOTIFICATION No. 02/2019(CUSTOMS) Sub- Addition of area in M/S Vizag Seaport Private Ltd (VSPL) Visakhapatnam regarding. Whereas M/S Vizag Seaport Private Ltd (VSPL) Visakhapatnam has been notified in exercise of the powers conferred under sub Section (a) of Section 8 of the Customs Act 1962 (52 of 1962), as Customs Area vide this office Notification No. 01/2004 (CUSTOMS) dated 05.04.2004 (EQ8 berth) and notification No. 03/2004 (Customs) (NT) (VSP) dated 09.04.2004 (EQ9 berth) by the Commissioner of Customs Visakhapatnam for proper place of loading of exported goods and unloading of imported goods including containers and containerized goods and de-notified an area to an extent of 765 Sq Meters vide notification No. 2/2017 dated 28.03.2017. Now in exercise of powers conferred under sub Section (b) of Section 8 of the Customs Act 1962 (52 of 1962), l, Dr. D. K. Srinivas , Principal Commissioner of Customs Visakhapatnam , upon the request of M/S Vizag Seaport Private Ltd (VSPL) Visakhapatnam vide their letter No. 01:017:001:1726:2018-19 dated 06.03.2019 and dated 27.03.2019, for inclusion of additional area of 7427.49 Sq Meters as per enclosed drawing, hereby extends the Customs Area by including 7427.49 Sq Meter on the eastern side of VSPL terminal to be proper place for unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods or any class of such goods declared earlier vide Notifications dated 05.04.2004 09.04.2004.The amended boundaries and limits of the Customs Area are as under- East- Compound Wall of VSPL West- EQ 9 berth compound wall of EQ10 berth South- EQ8 berth North-VSPL Compound Wall with Main Gate, EQ8 EQ 9 railway gates.
