Central Board of Direct Taxes specifies the following assets - debentures and bonds - S.O. 7(E) - Income Tax

O. 972 ( E ) DATED 13-11-1998 NOTIFICATION Now Delhi, the 5th January, 1998 (INCOME TAX) S.O. 7 (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 54 EB of the Income-tax act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby specifies the following assets, as long term specified assets, for the purpose of the said section, namely :- (i) debentures to be issued within a period of one year from the date of publication of this notification by M/s. Koshika Telecom Limited not exceeding ₹ 20 crores transferable or convertible after seven years; (ii) bonds to be issued within a period of one year from the date of publication of this notification by M/s.
