Central Government specifies, the 17.75% Secured Redeemable Non-cumulative Medium-term Bonds issued by Nuclear Power Corporation u/s 80L NOTIFICATION NO. S. O. 299 ( E ) DATED 4-5-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( ii ) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies, the 17.75% Secured Redeemable Non-cumulative Medium-term Bonds (Taxable) (VHI-C Series) of Rs. 1,00,000 each for an amount of Rs. 126.66 crores bearing distinctive numbers from H3MO33009 to H3MO45674 and 18% Secured Redeemable Non-cumulative Staggered Redemption Bonds (Taxable) (VIII-C Series) of Rs. 1,00,000 each for in amount of Rs. 8.82 crores bearing distinctive numbers from H3SO32127 to H3SO33008 aggregating for an amount of rupees one hundred thirty-five crores and forty-eight lakhs only issued by Nuclear Power Corporation for the purposes of the said clause.
