Amendment in Export Policy of Onions Seeds - 43/2015-20 - Foreign Trade Policy

S.O. 3903 (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) , as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export Policy of Onion seeds for the item description at Serial Number 73 of Chapter 12 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export Import Items, with immediate effect: S. No ITC (HS) Code Description Present Policy Revised Policy 73 12099130 Onion seeds Restricted Prohibited 2. The provisions as under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 regarding transitional arrangement shall not be applicable under this Notification. 3. Effect of this Notification: The Export of Onion seeds is prohibited, with immediate effect. The provisions under Transitional Arrangement ( Para 1.05 of the FTP 2015-20 ) shall not be applicable under this notification.
