Amendment in Policy Condition No. 7(ii) of Chapter 27 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy) – Implementation of Coal Import Monitoring System (CIMS). - 41/2015-2020 - Foreign Trade PolicyExtract MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE) NOTIFICATION NO. 41/2015-2020 New Delhi, the 7th November, 2022 Subject: Amendment in Policy Condition No. 7(ii) of Chapter 27 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule I (Import Policy) Implementation of Coal Import Monitoring System (CIMS). S.O. 5206(E). - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 9 of FT (D R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 , as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the Policy Condition No.7(ii) of Chapter- 27 of Schedule-I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS), 2022 : Existing Policy Condition Revised Policy Condition The importer can apply for registration not earlier than 60th day and not later than 15th day before the expected date of arrival of import consignment. The Automatic Registration Number shall remain valid for a period of 75 days. Importer shall have to enter the Registration Number and expiry date of Registration in the Bill of Entry to enable Customs for clearance of consignment. Effect of the Notification: The Policy Condition No. 7(ii) of Chapter- 27 of Schedule-I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS), 2022 has been revised.
