To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for handicraft sector within the village limits of Kalwara of Tehsil-Sanganer in the District of Jaipur, in the State of Rajasthan . MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND NDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 6th January, 2009 S.O. 40 (E). - Whereas M/s. Mahindra World City (Jaipur) Limited, a fully Private Organization in the State of Rajasthan, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for handicraft sector within the village limits of Kalwara of Tehsil-Sanganer in the District of Jaipur, in the State of Rajasthan; And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirement are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development, operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for handicraft sector within the village limits of Kalwara of Tehsil-Sanganer in the District of Jaipur, in the State of Rajasthan on 23rd day of April, 2008; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies the following area within the village limits of Kalwara of Tehsil-Sanganer in the District of Jaipur, in the State of Rajasthan comprising of the Khasra numbers and the respective areas given in the table below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely: Table Sl.
