Quorum in the meetings of the Approval Committee, for the Approval Committees MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 10th June, 2009 S.O.1437(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) the Central Government hereby stipulates that for the purpose of quorum in the meetings of the Approval Committee, for the Approval Committees constituted till date and the Approval Committees that shall be constituted henceforth, the Members of the Approval Committee shall, in their absence, nominate an official holding a rank not below the rank of a gazetted officer to represent them in the meetings.
