In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with rule 4 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient in public interest so to do, hereby rescinds notification No. 13/94-Central Excises (N.T.), dated the 2nd March, 1994 [G.S.R. 289(E), dated the 2nd March, 1994] with immediate effect.
