Amendment to Notification No. 53/59-C.E. [Rule 191B] Notification No. 33/88-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 15-12-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 191B of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 53/59-Central Excises, dated the 9th May, 1959, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - after Serial No. 36 and the entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "36A Footwear falling under Chapter 64 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) Parts of Footwear falling under Chapter 64 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)".
