Woven fabrics of wool, rubber yarn and other special yarns exempted if captively consumed

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of 1957), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 121/94-Central Excises, dated the 11th August, 1994, namely :-

In the Table annexed to the said notification, -

(i) against Sl. No. 4, in column (4), for the figures and letters "51.03", the figures and letters "51.03, 51.06" shall be substituted;

(ii) against Sl. No. 20, in column (4), for the figures and letters "55.06", the figures and letters "55.06, 56.04, 56.06" shall be substituted.
