Telecommunication equipments - Amendment to Notifica­tion No. 73/90-C.E.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 73/90-Central Excise, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :-

In the said notification, for the words "General Manager in the Department of Telecommunications" the words "Deputy Director General in the Department of Telecommunications" shall be substituted.
