In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 181/88-Central Excises, dated the 13th May, 1988, namely:-

In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 07 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be substituted, namely :-

"07.	73.10	Metal containers and parts thereof, other than those specified at S. Nos. 01 to 06 above.	15 per cent ad valorem
07A	73.11	Containers for compressed or liquified gas, of iron or steel	20 per cent ad valorem
