Amendments to Notification Nos. 253/82-C.E., 65/87-C.E. and 47/90-C.E.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.

01.	253/82-Central Excises, dated the 8th Novem­ber, 1982.	In the Table annexed to the said notification, in S. No. 10, the word "natural" shall be omitted.
02.	65/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1987.	In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 11, for the entry in column (4), the entry "5% ad valorem" shall be substituted.
03.	47/90-Central Excise, dated the 20th March, 1990.	In the Table annexed to the said notification,- (i) against S. No. 21, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Nylon monofilament yarn of denierage 210, 330, 420, 630, 840, 1050, 1260 and 1680, with tolerance of 4 per cent used for manufacture or repair of fishnets" shall be substituted;
		(ii) against S. No. 28, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Rs. 3.85 per kilogram" shall be substituted; and
		(iii) after S. No. 47 and entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be inserted, -
