In pursuance of rule 139 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 265/67-Central Excises, dated the 28th November, 1967, the Central Government hereby directs that the provisions of Chapter VII of the said rules, shall extend to each of the excisable goods falling under Heading Nos. 27.07, 27.10, 27.11, 27.12 and 27.13 (except Sub-heading No. 2713.12), 27.14 and 27.15 in the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986).

2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
