Exchange rates for imported goods - Amendment to Notification No. 101/98-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 1/99-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 6-1-1999 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 101/98-NT-Cus. S.O. 1129(E), dated 30th, December, 1998 namely :- In the schedule - I of the said notification serial No. 15 and the following entries relating thereto shall be added, namely :- Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees. 15. EURO 50.76 This rate will be effective from 7th January, 1999.
