Coimbatore airport appointed as customs airport for unloading of imported goods and loading of export cargo Notification No. 40/94-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 8-8-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints Coimbatore airport in the State of Tamil Nadu as customs airport for the unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods or any class of such goods.
