Warehousing period - Amendment to Notification No. 10/92-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 64/93-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 27-12-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (v) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 61 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is expedient so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 10/92-Customs (N.T.), dated the 17th February, 1992, namely : In the said notification :- (i) in item 6, the word "and" occurring at the end shall be omitted; (ii) for item 7, the following items shall be substituted, namely : "(7) Goods imported and stored in a private or a public bonded warehouse located in an Export Processing Zone for supply to units in any Export Processing Zone or to any hundred per cent export oriented undertaking; and (8) Raw materials, and components, and spare parts, except those specified in the Negative List of the Import Policy imported for stock and subsequent sale to actual users in India, when these are imported at and warehoused in Customs approved warehouses at Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi, Bangalore, Cochin, Madras, Kandla and Vishakhapatnam."
