Transfer of Residence (Second Amendment) Rules, 1993 Notification No. 17/93-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 17-2-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1978, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Transfer of Residence (Second Amendment) Rules, 1993. (2) They shall come into force on the 17th day of February, 1993. 2. In the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1978, in rule 3, after serial number 19 and the entry relating thereto, the following serial number and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "20. Fax Machine.".
