Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 1993 Notification No. 13/93-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 8-2-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Baggage Rules, 1978, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 1993. (2) They shall come into force on the 9th day of February, 1993. 2. In the Baggage Rules, 1978, in Appendix B, after serial No. 6 and the entry relating thereto, the following serial No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "7. Silver, in any form, other than ornaments.".
