Exchange Rate Notification No. 48/90-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 10-8-1990 In pursuance of sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 21/90-NT-Customs [G.S.R. No. 476 (E) ], dated the 14th May, 1990 the Central Government hereby determined that for the purpose of section 14 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for conversion of one Russian Rouble into Indian currency or vice-versa, shall be rupees 21.2200. This rate will be effective from Friday, the 10th August, 1990.
