Customs Port - Amendment to Notification NO. 76/73-Cus Notification No. 47/90 -Cus.(N. T.) Dated 9-8-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue Insurance) No. 76-Customs, dated the 18th May, 1973, namely :- In the said notification, against item 3 relating to the Port of Karwar (including Sadashivagad), for the entry under the heading "Purpose", the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "(i) for loading of iron and manganese ore, fish products, industrial materials, explosives, timber, granite, bauxite, limestone, allumina and molasses; (ii) for unloading of fertilizer, foodgrains, rock phosphate, timber, metal scrap, ships for breaking and crew baggage of such ships."
