Amendment to Notification No. 75/75-Cus. - 25/90 - Customs - Non Tariff

Amendment to Notification No. 75/75-Cus. Notification No. 25/90-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 29-5-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amend ments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 75-Customs, dated the 3rd July, 1975, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Serial No. 1, in column 3, - (i) in item (a) the word "and" occurring at the end of sub-item (iii) shall be omitted and after sub-item (iv), the following sub-items shall be inserted, namely :- "(v) parts of spectacles, (vi) life saving drugs, (vii) unaccompanied baggage"; (ii) in item (b), (1) for sub-item (iii), the following sub-item shall be substituted, namely :- "(iii) jewellery set with or without precious and semi-precious stones"; (2) after sub-item (xxiii), the following sub-items shall be inserted, namely:- "(xxiv) spectacle frames, (xxv) unaccompanied baggage."
