Amendment to Notification No. 40/89-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 50/89-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 13-9-1989 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 40/89-Cus. (N.T.) [S.O. 489(E)], dated 27th June, 1989 as amended by Notification No. 45/89(Non-Tariff)-Customs [S.O. No. 613 (E)], dated 4th August, 1989. In the Schedule below the said Notification for Serial No. 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted namely :- (1) (2) (3) 14. Pound Sterling 3.8445 This rate will be effective from 16-9-1989.
