Amendment to Notification No. 76/73-Cus. Notification No. 49/89-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 11-9-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 76-Customs, dated the 19th May, 1973, namely :- In the said notification, against item 3 relating to the Port of Karwar (including Sadashiveged), under the heading 'Purpose', in entry (i), after the words "unloading of", the words "timber and timber logs," shall be inserted.
