Port Blair appointed to be a customs port for loading and unloading - 44/89 - Customs - Non TariffExtract Port Blair appointed to be a customs port for loading and unloading Notification No. 44/89-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 20-7-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification No. 18/87-Customs, dated the 21st January, 1987, of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, the Central Government hereby appoints Port Blair in the Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to be a customs port only for - (a) the loading of fish and other marine products; and (b) the unloading of timber and wood based products.
