Amendment to Notification No. 143/83-Cus. Notification No. 59/88-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 20-9-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 59 and sub-section (2) of Section 61 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Central Board of Excise and Customs No. 143/83-Customs, dated the 13th May, 1983, namely :- In the said notification, for the words "twelve per cent per annum", the words "eighteen per cent per annum" shall be substituted.
