Tourist Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 1988 Notification No. 2/88-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 8-1-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Tourist Baggage Rules, 1978, namely :- (1) These rules may be called the Tourist Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 1988. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Tourist Baggage Rules, 1978, in rule 1, in sub-rule (3), the words "and Tourist of Bhutanese origin arriving from Bhutan" shall be added at the end.
