Passenger bus and spares, fuel and consumables thereof imported from Pakistan and Bangladesh - Amendment to Notification No. 4/99-Cus. Notification No. 36/99-Cus. Dated 22-3-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, (Department of Revenue) No. 4/99-Customs, dated the 8th January, 1999, namely :- In the said notification, - (a) for the word "Pakistan", the words "Pakistan or Bangladesh" shall be substituted; (b) in the Table, in column (3) relating to condition of exemptions, for clause (a) of the first proviso, the following clause shall be substituted, namely :- "(a) the goods specified in column (2) are imported under the Agreement between India and Pakistan for regulation of Bus Service between New Delhi and Lahore or under the agreement between India and Bangladesh for regulation of Bus Service between Calcutta and Dhaka;"
