Subbed Polyester base for manufacture of medical or industrial X-ray films and graphic art films - Exemption from Special Additional duty of Customs - Amendment to Notification No. 56/98-Cus. Notification No. 96/98-Cus. Dated 27-11-1998 In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 56/98-Customs, dated the 1st August, 1998, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "5A Subbed Polyester base falling within heading No. 39.20 of the said First Schedule imported for the manufacture of medical or industrial X-ray films and graphic art films Nil"
