Life saving drugs and medicines and materials used for manufacture of drugs - Notification Nos. 13/95-Cus. and 16/95-Cus. Notification No. 8/96-Cus. Dated 17-1-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. In Heading A of the Schedule annexed to the said notification, against serial number 132, for the entry, the entry " Mesna " shall be substituted ; 2. No. 16/95-Customs, dated the 16th March, 1995. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 119, for the entry in column (2), the entry "N-Carbethoxy-4-piperidone" shall be substituted.
